Gotta get that conjuration skill up I suppose... but it is much easier to just make a one second summon spell and spam it for a day or so. Conjuration levels based on what you summon, not how long. Do it with a highish level skeleton, smack it three or so times, then block until it runs out. Get weapon of choice, block, and conjuration skill points.
