I don't think that translation is right. The first part is something like "Aren't you glad? You should be happy...". The second I'm not really sure, partial translation is: "I'm sure you'll/we'll still (...) every day." Hopefully someone with better Japanese skills can back me up.

No, the translation is accurate. If I were the translator, I'd have done it like this:
"yokatta na, ki ni irarete..." ->
"that's good, entered feeling" (literal translation) ->
"Aren't you happy? She (became interested in|noticed) you..."
"are kara mainichi mirareteru ki ga surun da..." ->
"from there, every day the feeling of being watched was there" (literal translation) ->
"But ever since then, every day it feels like I'm being watched."
My exact localization is different, but the meaning is pretty much the same.

No, the translation is accurate. If I were the translator, I'd have done it like this:

"that's good, entered feeling" (literal translation) ->
"Aren't you happy? She (became interested in|noticed) you..."
"are kara mainichi mirareteru ki ga surun da..." ->
"from there, every day the feeling of being watched was there" (literal translation) ->
"But ever since then, every day it feels like I'm being watched."
