Of course she'd be driving a Mustang. Saved.

Now we need one of the Witches from Fuso in a Mitsubishi Lancer "ZERO Edition"...that, or a 60s-70s Skyline, Z, Mazda, or Toyota...

I would ask what Lucchini would drive, but there's the question of trusting her behind the wheel of ANYTHING.

You'd think she'd go for a Bugatti or Mazzeratti, seeing how she's got connections with royalty, but she'd end up picking some Fiat because it reminded her of a bug.

^ I think you're missing the joke. Shirley flies a P-51 Mustang. (and the car was named after the aircraft)

The joke may be that she flies a p-51, but the first mustang was not named after said plane, in fact both vehicles are named after the bronco ( male horse ) of a specific breed of horse, originally sought out for to be a race horse, being the fastest and most agile of American breeds, thus the name for both the plane and the car, how I know this? I WAS THERE BITCH :p

Anons 1408224 & 1502813 - I think you need to read the comments a little better.

The joke wasn't what was in the picture, the joke was wondering if the artist wanted to use a car that would be more homage to Fran instead of something to Yeager. Doesn't get much clearer than that.
