Hopefully this will be good enough that more precure fighting GIFS are added.
We need more of these here to be honest.

The animation on those smoke clouds are freaking amazing. I know it's a minor detail but dang that's a sight to see right there.

Pretty Cure, especially the original series, saves energy attacks for finishers and has a lot more chop-sockey. If when you think of magical girls, you think "Sailor Moon gets tied up, Tuxedo Mask rescues her, Sailor Moon fires her one attack from a mile away, fight over," watch Precure and think again! Really, this isn't a one-time thing. It's like this EVERY WEEK.
Don't get me wrong, there's still love and friendship and everything that gives that makes the genre not be DBZ. A lot of bad guys aren't really bad and get befriended, etc. But there's love and friendship and epic knock-down drag-out brawls.
One of my favorite moments is from the current (as of 2013) series, Dokidoki Precure. Alice is a refined, polite rich girl. Her only attack at the time is basically a giant force field. So we get this:
Bad guy: Hah! What are you gonna do with just a barrier?
Alice: *proceeds to beat six kinds of hell out of bad guy with the three or four martial arts she is an expert in.*
