Gardevoir is being remade to be Psychic/Fairy, and Fairy has been revealed to be weak to Poison. So Arbok is actually on even ground against Gardevoir now.

When has that actually been confirmed poison type is strong against fairy or even resistant to it. Even then Gardevoir is a highly superior Pokemon to Arbok.

@ Anon 2-> It still would do neutral damage to Gardevoir (due to being half psychic), besides Arbok and Gardevoir speed are the same, not to mention that Gardevoir is still supereffective against Arbok (being pure Poison) and Arbok's special defense is almost cardboard like (the only decent stats Arbok has are physical attack and speed and even then, they're so-so).

So, no... They're still far from being on equal ground.

The only choices that Arbok has to reach this turn of events are:

A) Surprise attack (Arbok can't learn priority moves, not even Quick Attack, but can learn Dig via TM)
B) Crunch spam (Since it can learn it via level up).

Anyway the meaning behind this picture is a pun due to Arbok being able to learn Swallow since Gen 3 (Swallow = Vore), really lame pun IMHO ^^U

Just here to Correct Lumi-kun. Arbok can learn a priority attack, In Sucker punch. plus gardevoir's defense is rather abysmal. Taking into account Arboks base 85 attack state, and gardevoirs base 65 defense. and by running a few simple calcs. Unless Gardevoir managed to trace Arboks intimidate ability, then Arboks sucker punch has a 75 percent chance to ohko standard offensive gardevoir. It all comes down to the trainer's battle experience, skill, and luck.
