I don't understand the whipping part.

Restraining their bodies as a form of surrender, giving themselves to the will of the dom, yes, but inflicting pain, not only is mean, but pointless. I'd be more about bringing them to pleasure beyond their control. Does inflicting pain contributes to that?

In case you can't tell, it's not willing domination play. She's being raped and tortured for the pleasure of the rapist. The torture is inflicted presumably because the rapist enjoys it, and it also helps break her spirit, so she can be turned into a sex slave and sold.
