True MeeK is an official Anglicization of her name however our tagging policies (borrowed from Danbo) Romanize its Japanese spelling みけ as Mike (still pronounced "Me Kay"). It's the same with Azumanga daioh being tagged Azumanga_Daiou. We use a mix of traditional (not modified) Hepburn Romanization lacking macrons and silent consonants so tags can be typed on any English keyboard; and yet we use modified Hepburn to more closely mach Japanese pronunciation when possible. i.e. sempai not senpai, tiim not chiim. We only use the obsolete spellings when used in context, i.e. Inaba_Tewi who's name is centuries old though the modern spelling is Tei.
