The monk blinked, dumbfounded. He must have misread read that passage from the Annals of the Journey to India. There was simply no way that anyone, let alone could have performed such acts--and with such stamina!
"Oh great Buddha," He murmured, looking upwards, "How is that position even possible? Was not the great Genjo supposed to have sworn a vow of chastity?"
And the clouds did part to reveal the Buddha. The omniscient and infinitely benevolent one waggled his hand in a non-commital gesture, intoning "Meh, only sorta-kinda."
