kenkou Cross wasn't the artist that drew the crab girl in monster girl quest. He was only a small part of the group of artists that contributed to the game. In fact, Alice, Luka's main love interest, the first slime you battle, and erubetie are the only monster girls he drew, I believe. The monster girl encyclopedia was created by only Kenkou cross himself, so some, if not all of these monsters are completely different from the ones in the game.

I never got the whole crab washing thing, did KC just take the idea from MGQ Setouchi crab girl or is there some kind of mythical japanese legend that crabs wash things?

not complaining, having a pre-sex bath is the last thing I could complain about, but still, it's just a tad bit strange.
