She's trying to seduce Judau into getting her off the ship. Basically, after they captured her Bright had her doing chores on the ship, which explains her outfit. The beginning of ZZ wasn't very good...

The beginning of ZZ was awesome and fucking hilarious. I'll admit the lighthearted and comedic atmosphere was a departure from the previous two series but to say it isn't good is unfair.

I disagree. Taking the same crew from Zeta and throwing them into a Saturday morning cartoon plot is downright insulting. Turning Bright Noah into a glorified babysitter, Yazan being reduced to a comic villain with a bone perpetually in his mouth, Space Aztecs, etc. Saying it "isn't good" is actually giving the early half of ZZ too much credit...

I liked ZZ as a whole, but I think the second half was much better than the first half. Also, Haman looked super sexy with her hair down

After the depressing deaths of most of the coolest characters toward the last 10 episodes of Zeta, the overabundance of space fights lacking unique backgrounds, the Zeta Gundam having "magic" powers to suck peoples' souls out or whatever, and Scirocco dying hilariously and uncharacteristically, I'm proud that ZZ did what it did with new places and new characters. I honestly think it wasn't as "comedy driven" as everyone's been warning me, and honestly, I feel now like Zeta cannot stand as uniquely on its own without Double Zeta to lean on.

Just me, though.

That's how Tomino was back then.
He'd usually follow up a light-hearted series with something a bit more dark or serious and then follow it back into something kinda light-hearted again.

He was kind of a depressed guy back then.

By the way I didn't mean to imply that there was anything depressing about Katz dying. He was annoying but kinda sweet. He just fucked up so much that poetic justice kicked in.
