What the fuck is wrong with people in this site?
I have seen multiple gifs from klk posted here but people always complain about little animation related things, usually about mako, when they were clearly made for comedic purposes. Imagine if they made a more realistic animation of mako doing the same things in this scene. It would become a lot more serious and lose all of its comedic aspect.

What the fuck is wrong with people in this site?
I have seen multiple gifs from klk posted here but people always complain about little animation related things, usually about mako, when they were clearly made for comedic purposes. Imagine if they made a more realistic animation of mako doing the same things in this scene. It would become a lot more serious and lose all of its comedic aspect.

How are you so sure that they aren't hiding the fact that the budget is so small by making it SEEM like it's only for comedic purposes? I like a lot of things about Kill la Kill but it is indeed cheap at times. What comedic purpose did they have for reusing the same scene of Satsuki sitting in the helicopter 6 times when she was on her way to invade other schools? Was THAT supposed to be funny? How about the fact they reused Satuki's animation whenever she in with that heel stomp and is holding her sword up talking about contradiction is truth or whatever?
Kill la Kill wouldn't not lose a thing if the animation was better at selective points and they didn't reuse so many things (i was unfazed by Satsuki and Ryuko transforming together since i've already seen it 50 times). Some of the fights just look pathetic and it's just two characters twitching around like they are hopped up energy drinks with very little animation going on. For something made by Trigger which has a lot of people who used to be Gainex who made Gurren, Kill la Kill from an animation stand point is pathetic.
