Early Disney princesses were horrifying. Snow White actually ENJOYED being made a servant by her stepmother. Belle's refusal to recognize and deal with/accept her own beauty is the subplot of the whole movie. And Pocahontas? Lets just say the sequel recognized that things go REAL BADLY for Native Americans in reality.
