anonymous 2 i think it's both cause on the show half the time she didn't know what she was talking about and she's a likable character for that. so her being a masochist is highly likely and as for the cactus i saw no needles

In that case, star_man, I wouldn't call her a masochist. Last I checked masochism was about enjoying being in pain and/or humiliated and while I admit it's been a long while since I saw Digimon Adventure so correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall Mimi being abused much if ever or having much enjoyment at all when she was and I fail to see how she can suffer by not knowing what she said. Going by the show at best I'd call it either innocence or ignorance/idiocy. By masochist I was referring to how she's being depicted in this image mostly because not everyone would choose to be accurate down to the very last detail personality or otherwise, especially when the source material gives plenty of room for the imagination.
