Because it's utterly impractical. Look at the pose she's in right now. About a second after this picture, she's going to go tumbling to the ground and the only reason she won't be breaking her ankle is because Samus is pretty darn tough.

Heels are the worst kind of shoes to walk in. Heels are the worst kind of shoes to attach rockets to. Activating them wouldn't make her fly. It would make her slam her head against the ground so hard she'd die instantly.

A bodysuit is the most uncomfortable, most impractical kind of clothing. You'd lose all flexibility by putting it on.

This outfit goes against the entire concept of Samus. She's supposed to be all about efficiency & she's supposed to look intimidating. She'd literally look more intimidating if she were wearing a full clown outfit.

This outfit (minus the retarded heels) is what's left when she loses her armor. She'd die without it in nearly any atmosphere that's ever been present in a Metroid game. That's literally why she dies in most games when you get game over. Because she loses her armor & the atmosphere kills her.

There's no defense for any of it. It's like having Mario come in with every powerup & then throw them away before stripping down & fighting in nothing but painfully positioned chains while strangling himself & the fight takes place on Neptune.

Absolute dumbest thing I've ever seen in any game ever. I can't think of even one single thing that's close.
