It's too bad that the hentai licensors in the US are so afraid of the Government now. I don't think I'm the only one who would like to see Pandra uncensored and on my shelf.

@ Mecha: Uh, you didn't do so well in English class did you? Japan censors then, when they aren't being wimps, American companies license and release things uncensored. I was lamenting that this probably won't happen with Pandra because many of the licensors are scared of running afoul of some drunk on power federal prosecutor eager to take down someone.

If everyone didn't torrent steal hentai then it might actually be profitable enough to license and sell it in the US. Hentai lovers/thieves ensure that we'll likely never get to see any of this uncensored. =( Unless Japan changes their censoring laws.

Actually, one of the main reasons they don't release things over here is because the prices they sell stuff like this for in japan is immense, while in the US trying to sell something smutty for the prices Japan would ask for would pretty much guarantee that it never sells. So they lower the prices for it to sell in the west.
Almost no money to be made that way if you really think about it.

Actually, one of the main reasons they don't release things over here is because the prices they sell stuff like this for in japan is immense, while in the US trying to sell something smutty for the prices Japan would ask for would pretty much guarantee that it never sells. So they lower the prices for it to sell in the west.
Almost no money to be made that way if you really think about it.
