That's what it parodies. But anon1, and I myself as well, wants to know what the theme for the characters is. They just seem like a bunch of random characters with nothing in common.

Might be the point. Might just be random characters the artist likes in one picture. Artist does seem to like characters with prosthetic or fake limbs though since I see at least three.

All of these characters had some trust issue involving them and the main character. Weather it be the fact they might be shady, cold by nature, or had duties that contradicted what the protagonist had to do, but later join the winning team.
