Which is just ridiculous. Virion's poor stat caps and class pool means he'll be forever alone. And there's no need to waste MU on Cordy when Severa already has almost everything she needs to excel. Why not just give Donnel to Sumia if you're so intent on wasting units.

And this is all avoiding the fact that Severa makes for a superb MU waifu~

Not everyone cares only for stats. Some people choose parings based on how good a couple the father and mother are, how good/fitting the father would be to the child, and some even just choose the father based on the hair color he would give to his child.

^Yeah, alot of people pair Cordelia with Gaius or Gregor so Severa can be a redhead (and resemble Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion or Kokoa from Rosario+Vampire). Stahl and Lon'qu are also popular dads for Severa because of their supports with Cordelia and because of stats and classes. And of course, male Avatar is also really popular because Cordelia is one of the fan-favorite waifus.

Let's also not forget about Ricken. Not only does he make Severa a redhead, but he actually makes her a decent magic user. And besides that, WAY too many people want her to be a Sorcerer because she gets it plus Armsthrift without giving a shit that her magic isn't normally very good.
