Makes me think of Dungeons and Dragons really old art pieces. When you'd buy like 2 games from the distributor they'd send you a catalogue with all their stuff and this really reminded me of it.

It's kind of sad that after the manga has gone to total shit the author offers glimpses of something better. And even the characters know it- that's why they keep reminiscing about the good old days.

"Hey, remember when we had all the members of Team 7 and we just went on missions and stuff? Can we just go back to that?"

I like the dragon's design. I wonder what Naruto would be like if it had a bit more variety than ninjas., like this and also robots like that other page spread. Would still be focused on ninjas though.
