This show's fucking terrible. Half of the plot is about an emo manchild bitching about his boyfriend not liking him and the rest of the show is a rip off of dbz lol. Not to mention most of the actual decent looking fights scenes were ripped directly from other better animes.
They should have kept the original naruto running.

It still does have tactics and strategy.
Hashirama Vs. Madara did have some strategy involved. One included slowing down Kurama by letting him attack while evading the attacks and using the dust after their clash to capture him. Another one was changing the trajectory of Madara's Biju Sword with Rashomon.
Kurama and Gyuki vs Jubi involved that too.
Did you not see how Gyuki pretended to shield himself and let Kakashi Kamui him during the Jubi Bomb so it looked like he died? Oh, and the time when Naruto threw his clone and Kakashi above the Jubi after it finished it's attack while using the smoke as a distraction?
Don't forget Kakashi and Naruto vs. Obito.
Oh and the Ninja Alliance vs Jubi.
I could go on, but you should get the point by now. It still involves tactics.
