If the tactician could have a relationship, the obvious choice is Lyn, but since it can't be, Hextor/Lyn is the best Pair, their personalities complement so well each othe and they kick ass together.

Hector/Florina and Eliwood/Ninian were shipped hard by the game itself, and Lyn's closest relationship other than maybe Florina (which would have been sooo nice) was with the tactician, so this all makes sense.

@1580572: At what point in the game does Hector and Florina get a moment together when Eliwood and Ninian have a moment alone? Can they get a special conversation after they have an A support together? Do they have conversations that can only be seen in Hector's story? The correct answers to all of those questions are as follows: They don't, nope, and absolutely not.

It's Hector/Lyn that's shipped hard by the game itself. NOT Hector/Florina. Trying to suggest otherwise requires blatantly ignoring the dialogue in the game itself. Special conversations or not.
