This would make me think that this will be the one non-official "Zelda" Warriors game in which you can get away with something like this.
Just like most other Warriors games...Choose to play as Zelda & have her kill Link for no good reason in a stage where you fight against him. :D
That would be the only reason I'd buy Hyrule Warriors...just to see how freely you can play the stages and face off against certain characters.
Despite me being a fan of the official Zelda-series games, and NOT being a fan of Warriors games in general...Tecmo-Koei better give us the choice to play as Ganondorf in Hyrule Warriors.
