So I'm guessing that every card's level will have pictures like these. Do you have to go through a event to get the images?

Well, there's a starting image (usually clothed) for each card. Those wth 2-3 stars have 1 scene that's unlocked when you level it to the max. 4+ stars have 2 scenes: 1 halfway to the maximum and another at max level. You also get the undressed image at max level.
"Levelling" in the game means spending money and other cards to enhance the one you want a scene for. So there's no real event to speak of, besides "farm cards>farm money> spend both until scene unlocks or level maxes out".
The cards themselves drop based on the ticket you use to draw them and on RNG. Most canon characters have between 0.5% and 5% chance to drop from a premium ticket.

It does make sense, I've played rpg cards games on my smartphone. I though that the gameplay was different because it was adult theme, and done by Lilith-Soft.
