The animation is way better than Pokemon Origins, at least. I don't know about development, I haven't seen any episode.

While the animation is amazing since the series started worst thing we all know will come is even with godly Hawlucha Ash will be BS out of becoming a league champ again and next generation he'll leave Hawlucha back at Oaks with us in tears wondering when he'll use it again.
