Here's an idea. Ask her if she wants the gag removed. Either she'll nod to say "yes" or she'll shake her head to say "no". Her head movement will dictate how you proceed.
If she wants to remain gagged, continue asking yes-or-no questions, doing the things to which she nodded and not doing the things to which she shook her head.
If she wants you to remove the gag, you can have a conversation with her about how she got in her "predicament" (in quotations in case she did it to herself). Who knows? The end result might be you being permitted to tie her up in a similar fashion... or, if you prefer being the one tied up, maybe she'll be kind enough to tie you in that (or any other) position.
