Is he really? I haven't heard from any source other than a supposed leak, and no matter how accurate some of these leaks have been, they've all gotten something wrong.

Personally, I can't see Duck Hunt working as a viable character... Maybe an Assist Trophy, but not a playable character.

He's a actually a fairly interesting character in a joke character kind of way (His animations and attacks are rather amusing).

Besides his inclusion means that now we can beat him up REAL BADLY for laughing at us since 1984.

Anon 2- The leak was confirmed through pics of the day days after if was shown and just last night up until an hour or two ago, there were multiple streams for the 3DS version unlocking all the characters and he was one of them.

Well I'll be damned. Cheeky bastard really IS playable. Not really sure how I should feel about this. It's like Olimar all over again.

Ah well, I won't complain, this isn't the first time Smash has had a goofy, weird addition. Besides, Anon 3 brings up a good point; I've been looking for an acceptable punching bag in Smash. >:3
