For those wondering how the bikini works, look closely at that region; her legs do seem to have a slight gap before becoming a snake tail.

Consider that if the bikini has ties anywhere that we can't necessarily see (like perhaps behind the white bit of fabric, under the metal bits, or maybe even in the back), the bikini bottom could be slipped between her legs while untied, lifted into position, then knotted in place and secured.

That's the only way it really makes sense to me, anyway.
