@Anon: Having exposed myself some when I was in school, it's safer & more comfortable with shoes or socks. Socked feet are best if you're exposing yourself and hope, since you can walk/run nearly silent in them. But even if you're doing like this girl, walking barefoot on cold concrete floors isn't fun.
