Yeah cause Kishi was thinking of giving Bolt and Himawari the byakugan but, he forgot. (Maybe can still have a speacial type of byakugan later or at least Bolt) So he thinking of another child with one from the start.

He could give still give Bolt and Hima the Byakugan since its in their blood(awakening it like the Sharingan)they will have pupils though.They are the first case of a half blood hyuga so it wouldn't be a retcon.

well, first case of half-bloods that we know of. I don't see how the Hyuuga could be so large and have lasted so long if they DIDN'T allow outsiders to marry into the clan. Hinata and her mom are what really throw me off since they're the only ones with plum hair in an entirely brunette family.
