Is Boom really on par with something as bad as 06? I've never played it myself (and probably never will) but from what I've seen of it, it looks just mediocre. Sonic 06 was plain awful.

The comic and the cartoon are passable, but the games (Rise of Lyric & Shattered Crystal) are just abysmal and uninspired without any kind of substance to it. At least Sonic 06 had some really memorable tunes, but the Boom games have nothing at all to salvage them.
