What happened was there were some comments about this picture, and one was deemed to be too "scat-like", and the poster expressed the desire to have the commented edited/slightly altered to better fit the rules.

That's when Jerl said the moderators could only delete, not edit comments. Jerl deleted the comment and the comment was posted again after it was changed so as not to break the rules.

Everything went fine until another moderator decided they would delete every comment, even the ones which were completely unrelated to that discussion.

utokai: There was literally no other way for me to resolve the situation. The commenter themself wished for the comment to be changed, but there is absolutely no way for us to do that. All I could do was delete the old one so that they could re-post it edited to not violate the rules, which they did.

I had nothing to do with the rest of the comments being removed.
