Huh, so much for Gelbooru being a place where people with fetishes can be themselves. I post a series of images that I can get off to and wish to share with others who might be able to enjoy them, and I get downvoted for it. I'd like to know why this voting system exists if all it does is make others feel bad and encourage them to not post anything. Everyone has their own tastes, so why do we shove it down everyone's throats that they're wrong? Do I like Guro or Yaoi? No, but I don't go downvoting or flaming people who do. Is Vore my only fetish? Of course not. I also enjoy Lolis, MILFs, Glasses, and Cuddling. I like what I like, they like what they like; we're all different, so why do so many people want us to be the same? Let us enjoy our fetishes while you enjoy yours. If you don't like a fetish, just accept that not everybody will like all the same things you do and leave it alone. Who know, maybe there's a fetish out there that you both like? Man, Woman, and Child; Everyone should be allowed to fap in peace.

It got through your blacklist...so what? Is it so vile that it'll melt your eyes from your sockets unless you post about how disgusting it is? Unless you're a fictional character, probably not. How hard is it to go "Oh, this isn't something I'm interested in; I'll go look at something else."? How would you feel if someone told you that you were a horrible person for having something you're interested in?

The only real problem is that the vote system at it's core is wonky. On one note people's fetishes that are rare or weird will be searched less and therefore the people who find it will tend to upvote for a good find that fits them. On the other hand anybody that doesn't want to see it, the uninformed majority who make up a larger group but find this stuff less, will downvote most of the time.
IMO people should be allowed to downvote your image just because they don't like it. It should not serve to discourage you in any way as it is just a representation of the masses tastes, something you already knew would be 90% against it. Unless downvotes affect searches, or rather can remove an image, then it isn't hate and it is just their perfectly valid opinion. I don't want to call you weak for being deterred by the voting system, but using it as a reason to stop posting is just lame for the people who want to keep seeing it.
As for my opinion on the image set, I really, really like femdom so it is alright. Not really a massive turn-on but it on a kinky day this could be the best thing on the internet.
