At some point stuff like this annoys me even more than disgusting hentai pictures. Satsuki having nightmares? For real? Why some artists want to see her being in this kind of state? It's completely out of character. Even when she lost everything and were tortured in dungeoun she still saw her aim clear with her resolve unwavering, she got balls way bigger than some veterans that went through wars she surely got some mental tricks how to pass through hard situations without any consequences and in the end everything ended up for her well. Why should she suffer from nightmares? Nonsense.

PTSD happens with ones who were unprepared and never expected that events to happen to them, it causes deep shock and mental problems. Remiond me her being shocked and mentally broken? Don't remember that? Me neither. She was always prepared to consequences with her mind and body.The only thing that could happen to this type of people after achieving their goal - deep depression, because they don't have anything to aim for now.

She went through hell, just because you think you are prepared for something mean you are. She might steel herself and not show weakness in front of her subordinates and enemies but deep down she has plenty of issues she has to deal with. You should take a look at soldiers who are the most likely to develop PTSD. They think they are ready, they were trained for this and yet still the war breaks them.

Ah forgot to mention one thing. We did see her mentally damaged, remember that moment in Osaka after her fight with Ryuuko? When she takes off Junketsu she looks so lost and vulnerable. For a moment we see what she is like under all that mental armor of hers.

She went through hell? Well, yeah her life was uneasy, but was it hell? She lived in luxurious apartament, wealthy, with power over everything, her mother did not know about her plans and trusted to her completely, one moment of abusement was in dungeon and that was most likely.... all? Soldiers on war loses their friends, get severe injuers, kill innocent because they are ordered to do so, live in terrible conditions on verge of death every moment, of course they got PTSD. The only close one she cared about and lost was her father, her friends are safe, she reunited with her sister and achieved goal of whole life and ended up as head of one of richest corporations. Hell? Seriously?
And that weakened state were caused by Junketsu's strain, it was kinda explained in the same episode.

Do you really believe that the bit in the dungeon was all? We know very little about what Ragyo did to her while she was growing up and seeing what Ragyo is capable of I seriously don't even WANT to think about it. Then there is Nui whom Satsuki obviously hated who probably contributed to her "joyous family life".

But I guess we won't exactly achieve an understanding so EoT on my part.

Everything you say it's just a things you wish to believe to justify your point of view, since nothing of it was ever proved, Ragyo surely have teased her from time to time, but that's most likely everything. Try to rely on facts you already got, not your headcanon kind sir.

No problem. Two cases of sexual abuse of Satsuki. One case of sexual abuse of Ryuuko. Also multiple instances of pointing out that Satsuki is beneath Ragyo and is just her little tool. Also think a bit about how 5 years old Satsuki must have felt. Children of that age still rely heavily on the parents and believe that parents are always right. What does it do to a child this young when their father tells them that their mother is an evil alien monster that needs to be killed and then finds out that their mother killed their father. The kind of trust-issues something like that would create in a child are mind-blowing.

Instead of it Satsuki remained strong and free-willed, basically it means that Ragyo gave her freedom in everything, believing that her daughter does everything in her sake, believeing that she is "her little tool". I think that Satsuki were shocked when she learned the truth about her mother, however everything is tied to human personality and mentality, most would not be able to overcome it and just give up, so basically her strong will were in her from the moment she were born and I doubt that it would just disappear when everything settled down.
