The thing that aggravates me most about art (in any medium) with wings is that, so often, the wings come directly out of someone's clothes. There'll be a statuette of an angel and the wings will come right out of the fabric of her robe, stuff like that.

Here we have an example of someone barely wearing any clothes at all, and the wings still come straight out of fabric and I can't unsee it.
