What the hell how did it evolve it never battle so it should not have enough experience to evolve yet and how does a level 5 pokemon know flamethrower already and ash's frokie has battled a lot but took that long to evolve what the hell

There are no levels in the anime and it did battle occasionally, though, mostly team rocket

Krabby only had to battle ONCE to evolve.... ONCE keep this in mind

and Charmeleon just had to get really pissed off

and Kogas Venonat evolved upon entering battle

Not every Pokemon needs experience to evolve in the anime. love and friendship plays apart in it as well.

Take Ash's Goomy for example. It had one fight against Team Rocket and another against that Grumpig then it evolved.
