Jesus? More like, let's say, Shiva (a destructive entity who is still on the side of good). Pokemon Jesus would probably be Celebi or another one of the relatively nonviolent Legendaries.

Also when the hell did the Pokemon anime get so hardcore? I don't remember shit like this.

The Pokemon anime has been hardcore ever since the first movie. They just spread out the good parts really, really, really far apart from each other to the point that no one outside the community even talks about it anymore.
