@anon4, Goodra has to protect its homeland and Ash needs to leave it behind, meaning we probably will never see Goodra again.

How long did ash have Goodra? last time i checked his shortest kept pokemon was Primeape as he caught it at the end of one episode and left it the very next episode.

Ash has had it for 15 episodes and it made it evolve all the way from Goomy, so this is not like the Primeape thing. For the record, the last time Ash actually released a Pokémon was 16 seasons ago.
