This is literally the best paring I have seen so far, and also, to some degree both Rosalina and Samus have one thing in common:

Rosalina is the adopted mother of the Lumas
Samus had a sync-connection with a infant Metroid that saw her as a mom.

Rosalina and Samus have a lot of things in common.

I would think both being space travelers is the easiest one to see personally. Being Nintendo's best blonde babes is another one.
