She may have a valid point about the forehead poke being better than a kiss. I mean really, do you think Sasuke can even process showing affection in any other form? Except maybe slicing off each others' arm and letting your blood pool together.

kishimoto was always terrible at writing female characters and there’s just a couple that actually do anything useful in the entire series.I don’t think Sakura’s growth was ever a concern for him. She is actually a pretty weak character motivated the entire series not by love but her childish infatuation with sasuke.
