How does this prove anything like that? They're both still easy to tell apart from each other, plus when people call Daisy a Peach clone they do so because her dress is identical to Peach and her only important role ever was being a Peach stand-in. At least Rosalina has a reason to look similar to Peach, what with the original intention of the two being related.
And Rosalina's personality isn't anything like Peach's, certainly not in Smash. Are you even playing these games?

What are you talking about? She's completely like that in Smash. She's unfazed by most things and is never scared shitless like Peach always is. They emphasize her motherly and humble nature in spinoffs because that suits those games more than mysteriousness. This is what they do in games like Mario Golf or Party, or even 3D World in some ways. There's no game where she's like Peach apart from maybe Mario Kart where all of the characters are the same as each other.
How do you know who's popular in the ballot? And Daisy was a Peach stand-in. Play Super Mario Land, that's the only game where she ever had any important role. And by your logic, Rosalina is farther from a Peach clone seeing as she has even more popularity and also the fact that every game she's in that involves a character's own abilities puts her far away from Peach/Daisy.

I personally don't even see Rosalina or Daisy as Peach clones. I don't know why Peach gets any credit though, she was (and maybe still is) just a carbon copy of Pauline.

Thanks, I don't hate Rosalina nor anything just want Daisy to get more recognized seeing that Nintendo has done nothing but leaving in the sidelines of the spin-offs, just hope that they realize by seeing all the requests she is getting, there are fans who want her to be more than spin-off fodder, if you are a fan of Smash mind joining Smash Boards the biggest Smash community in the world?
