i think during the presentation trailer of C.falcon, Robin and Lucina, there was a imagen in the Smash Bros. oficial site with Lucina sitting with Palutena, i bet it started in that place.

Cute as it looks, there's kind of a problem with this ship. Palutena is a massive troll whose major contribution to Uprising is screwing with Pit and mocking him (albeit affectionately). Lucina is the least likely to get a joke in Awakening's army. Palutena's more likely to piss Lucina off than anything else.
