Game theory is wrong. Dead bodies do not float until they've been decomposing for a few days. It's the buildup of gas from the bacteria decomposing the flesh that causes the bodies to float. Until that happens they are denser than water and do not float, they will sink.
This is the danger of relying on Youtube for science.

What about Zack or Aerith's dad? Phoenix Down probably stirs the unconscious or saves someone near the brink of death but cannot do anything for fatalities. If there really was cure for death, there would be no stakes or worry at all. *ahem* Dragon Balls
