Cordelia is one of the more waifus in Awakening (she's my favorite from that game!) but a lot of people's attention is on Lucina, Tharja and female Robin (3 waifus who scored higher than Cordelia did on that 2012 JP Awakening popularity poll).

And recently, Lucina scored 3rd place in the top 10 most popular Fire Emblem characters (FE1-FE13) in Japan, only beaten by Ike (1st) and Marth (2nd).

Even so, there's still nowhere near the amount of Cordelia art you think there would be. Heck, I'm pretty sure some lower ranked characters have a good amount more art than her.
