Heh, Shepard only needs to get in a single shot, given how advanced the weapons in ME are, and MasterChiefs gun wouldn't do anything to a shield capable of stopping hypervelocity rounds.

Kinetic shielding, by its own nature, is incapable of stopping a plasma sword.

Really though, the universe implodes from their respective plot armours coming into contact.
