Actually Link maybe the strongest hero in the nintendo world. Let's get this out of the way first; Lucina or anyone in smash is by no means weak in any ways shape or form. Honestly their all crazy strong. Now, just look at just one of his incarnations TP. Took down He took down two self-proclaimed gods, swings rock people over his back with only the help with the weight of the iron boots to keep him steady, has wolf like cunning and brutality, pun intended, and has the most deadly and vast sowrd skills out all of his incarnations. And he’s in second place to the strongest Link in Ocarina of Time. Also every Link as the skill to hone in on an emery’s weakness and hammer at it, both literally and fugitively. Link is also one of the top ten swordsmen in the gaming world (Somewhere around 7, 8, or 5) honestly the only people that can beat Link in smash would be Mew two, or palutena, or Ryu but mostly because they gods in their own rights. (And evil/ pure Ryu)
Heck in Palutena’s intro, Link was about to beat Pit, an angel mind you, into next week. Until Palutena came in and tore long ears a new one. The main reason for this is because of his versatility and skill. You can have all the power in the world, like Ganondof and/or Demise, but if someone is smarter, more skilled, or knows your weakness, your kind of screwed. Hell look at bat man.
A human, in world filled with monsters, gods, and a man who can bench press a planet, he still is able to hold his own. Link is the same way. Compared to a lot of the smashers, he pretty human. Only with a sowrd, a shield, a boomerang, a bow, a few bombs going up against gods, demons, and flaming swords.
And just like good ol Bruce, Link’s weapons are also what make him overpowered. The master sowrd kills anything pure evil (pure evil, anti-heroes are safe) and repeals magic. The Hyrulean shield is indestructible. And his a master of every weapon.
Nintendo kind of knows this too. The Palutena intro is one hint, but how many characters can just stand there and reflect projectiles without damage? Kind of over kill really. It’s easy to get past, but is it really needed?
In all Link is one of the strongest heroes in smash. He may look girly, wares a dress, and can’t destroy planets but you DON’T want to fuck with him. Heck this picture alone is basically saying it takes a goddess AND a princess knight to take him down. But his not un-beat able. He’s still human. An arrow through the heart, or a simple snap of the neck can kill him. You’re just going to have a very hard time of doing it. And besides, I am comparing this guy with gods, jackals that shot gaint energy beams, and fucking Samus Aran. He HAS to have some skill to even stand up to these monsters.

Captain Falcon at max power punched some asshole so hard the impact was seen from outside the galaxy in the series, Donkey Kong punched the moon out of orbit in DKCR so what was that crap about Link or weakshits like Ganondorf and Samus being the strongest?

Link is determined, competent, resourceful, good-looking (people care about this!) , clever and of course his defining trait BRAVE/courage But above all, Link is human - he has traits that many of us envy, it's his character that makes him badass- Samus is a similar case.

Link is determined, competent, resourceful, good-looking (people care about this!) , clever and of course his defining trait BRAVE/courage But above all, Link is human - he has traits that many of us envy, it's his character that makes him badass- Samus is a similar case.
