I thought Zoisite was female, or is that just in the DiC dub? I haven't watched the original or even a whole episode of the redub.

Zoisite is male. The original dub made him female because he was in a relationship with Kunzite, and they didn't want any gay getting near the kids watching the show. That was back before anyone realized how easy it was for us nerdlings to find out the truth simply by spending a little time on the internet.
