Naruhina FTW! They are a true couple. Sakura had her chance, she squandered it by treating Naruto terribly and generally being a class A bitch to him. And in the end, Sasuke just knocked her up and took off for a decade, she wanted some love from him at the start of Gaiden as he was leaving, he just coldly turned his back on her and left, leaving her all dejected("your gonna make me wait"). the way she treated Naruto after all he did for her, yup, Sakura deserves to be in such a seemingly blah relationship.

Honestly out of all the couples, Hinata was the only one who was really open about it, and not for the wrong reasons either. The other pairings only exist so their kids have some companions really.
Their importance I think is reflected on the two kids they have.
