That isn't 6 fingers it is like that for illumination purposes. Just like when people draw stuff where one person would look to have 3 or 4 legs instead of one. Surely the person drawing it felt that they were drawing another finger which is why they set it up to look like that. Most people don't care if the extra finger would look transparent or solid, the effect is still there and that is what matters, plus for those truly accurate ones you might not even see a hand or fingers at all.
So, do you want to see 6 fingers or no fingers and no hand is basically what you gotta ask yourself, because you'll just see a blur that kinda represents them if you don't want the 6th finger.
