No really, that is all the needed reason. People will ship anything with everything. I mean there is a term for shipping with inanimate objects. (Cargo shipping...)

The splash art for Bunny Girl Riven has (or had, not sure if they changed it) Zac in the background looking at Riven and blushing. People just ran away with it. It's also probably why she's usually in her bunny costume in a lot of the Riven x Zac art. Well, that and the whole bunny costume thing.
