Anon1: it's a fight between Light and Dark, which is not necessarily a fight between Good and Evil. Granted, it still doesn't really make sense for Lucina (Princess of the Exalted bloodline who couldn't bring herself to kill her father's best friend who is potentially also her mother/husband/father or mother in-law in spite of knowing for a fact it would have averted the apocalypse), Little Mac (He's just a boxer) or Villager (Axe murderer memes notwithstanding) to be on the "Dark" side, but hey, it works for visual parallels; Mask for mask (Samus/Lucina), fighter for fighter (Ryu/Little Mac), political figure for political figure (Zelda/Villie).

ROB vs. Shulk makes a little more sense since Shulk spends most of his game fighting robots.

Yes, Anon 5, I am fully aware of the dark and gritty nature of the MGS series, but that's exactly what I'm talking about. Snake was most likely cut from Sm4sh- in part- for that exact reason, which is why Bayonetta isn't making much sense to me.
Never did I say that Bayonetta was a BAD choice, just a controversial one that I PERSONALLY find distasteful. You can't honestly tell me that there aren't any characters in Smash that YOU haven't liked.

@Misty Man, nipples and clits get hard, and clits have the same nerve tissue as a penis head, so yes, women can get "boners" in a way.
Just saying.

Bayonetta too sexual? HA! Even family friendly films get away with risque jokes for the parents why would a family friendly game be any different? They toned her down enough that it's not too much but kept enough in that you can see some of the characters turn into a puddle from her sensuality like a cartoon character.
