Of Oct? She's a relatively new character to the manga, so she didn't make an appearance in the anime; anime tends to be more widely accessible thanks to commercials and such, whereas I don't know of any real promotion for manga. With websites like AniChart, you can find every anime airing during a given season on a single page. With manga, though, you really have to go looking for it; hell, I only found out about MonMusu myself because I stumbled over a cropped image of one page on Memebase, of all places, a few years back.

TL;DR: More people tend to see an anime than they do a manga, which generally renders manga-only characters a less popular target for artists.
